How to upgrade your Lytec database after the Lytec cloud servers have been upgraded

When you open your practice, you will be prompted to Convert Your  Data Files. Follow the steps below:
  1. Click Yes when asked if you want to proceed
  2. Login with your user name and password (you must have admin privileges in order to proceed)
  3. After logging in, you will be prompted to backup your database. Leave the default option and click Next
  4. In the Backup File dialog, type D:\Temp\[name of the practice].bak and click Next
  5. Backup Options Screen - Leave the defaults and click Next
  6. Backup Media Screen - Leave all options blank and click Next
  7. Backup SQL Preview - Click Finish
  8. Click OK when the backup is completed and Lytec will continue to convert your files. When finished, click OK
  9. You will now be able to login to the latest version of Lytec
