How does the interface between Lytec and Patient Communicator work when first connected?
We read the Lytec database in real time, so the time between installation and access to data within our system is nearly instantaneous. As new patients or appointments are added, we always see them immediately. Changes to existing patient contact information are not seen immediately within our system although we read the Lytel database in real time for contact information for any manually or automated messages being sent. A manual refresh can be made from our system for either specific patients or practice wide. A manual refresh of providers and/or appointment types will need to be done if any of the automated notifications are filtered by provider or appointment type. In those notifications where filtering isn't enabled, no refresh will be necessary and new providers and appointment types are automatically added.
An Automated refresh is made daily of changes to existing patient contact information and newly added providers or appointment types. The daily auto-refresh rate and time is not customizable.
