How to reset a user's password in Medisoft

To reset a user's password in Medisoft, you must have administrator rights.

1. If a user forgot their password, they can try entering their Login Name and clicking the ? Forgot Password. This will only work if a security question has been set up for that user. If not, proceed to step 2.
2. Log in to Medisoft with the username and password with admin rights. (The default user name is MEDISOFT, and the default password is SYSTEM1. This should have been changed and may not work).
   
3. Click on the File menu
   
4. Select Security Setup
   
5. Select the user and click Edit
   
6. Update the Password, Confirm the Password, and click OK (Please note the password is case sensitive)
   

If you do not have access to the Security Setup option, you are not logged in as the correct user with Admin rights.
